Mexico ( 
listen [ˈmexiko] ), is officially called the United Mexican States.
It is a sovereign country located in the southern part of North America with its capital in Mexico City .
It is the 13th largest independent state in the world.
With a population of 129 million people, Mexico is the tenth most populous country.
Mexico is a federation comprising 31 states plus Mexico City (CDMX), which is the capital and its most populous city. Other metropolises in the country include Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Toluca, Tijuana, and León.
Spanish is the official national language and is the most widely spoken by the vast majority of the population. In addition, there are more than 50 indigenous languages currently spoken in Mexico.
The descendants of the Aztecs speak a form of the Aztec language called Nahuatl. Many of his words, particularly for types of food, passed into Spanish such as tomatoes (tomatl), chocolate (chocolatl), and avocados (ahuacatl).

Most Mesoamericans made chocolate drinks, including the Mayans and Aztecs. The word “chocolate” is derived from the classical Nahuatl word chocolātl.

Popocatépetl
Mexico sits on the “Ring of Fire,” one of the most violent earthquake and volcanic zones on earth.
Popocatépetl ( Nahuatl : Popōcatepētl , ‘the smoking hill’ ”: popōca ‘smoke’, tepētl ‘hill ‘ ) is an active volcano just 43 miles (70 km) southeast of Mexico City, and visible from there when weather conditions allow. Popocatépetl is affectionately called El Popo by the Mexicans. It is one of the most active volcanoes in Mexico.

It is the second highest volcano in Mexico, with a maximum altitude of 5,500 meters above sea level, only after Citlaltépetl , at 5,747 m.

Tequila
Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant, mainly in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, 65 km northwest of Guadalajara, and in Los Altos de Jalisco.
Tequila is made from the blue agave plant and is prepared in a number of different ways. Tequila is commonly served neat in Mexico and as a shot of salt and lime around the world.
Mariachis
Mariachi is a genre of regional Mexican music that dates back to at least the 18th century, evolving over time in the countryside of various regions of western Mexico.
In 2011, UNESCO recognized Mariachi as an intangible cultural heritage.
Song styles and instrumentals performed with mariachi include rancheras, corridos, cumbias, boleros, ballads, sones, huapangos, jarabes, danzones, joropos, pasodobles, marchas, polkas, waltzes, and chotís.
