Mexico is simply magical, because it has impressive beaches, an incredible biodiversity of species, deserts, volcanoes, beautiful waterfalls, ancient civilizations, jaguars, its parties, tacos, guacamole, chili peppers, its history, its folklore, mariachis, the tequila, a world-renowned gastronomy of its own,\u2026..<\/span><\/p>

Mexico is just magical!<\/p>

Because it is diverse, enormous, multicultural, colorful, unique\u2026<\/p>

Mexico<\/strong>\u200b (\u00a0\"About <\/a>listen <\/a> [\u02c8mexiko]<\/a> ), is officially called the United Mexican States.<\/strong><\/p>

It<\/strong> is a sovereign country located in the southern part of North America with its capital in Mexico City<\/a> .<\/p>

It is the 13th largest independent state in the world.<\/p>

With a population of 129 million people, <\/span>Mexico is the tenth most populous country.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Mexico is a federation comprising 31 states plus Mexico City (CDMX), which is the capital and its most populous city. <\/span> Other metropolises in the country include Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Toluca, Tijuana, and Le\u00f3n.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Spanish is the official national language and is the most widely spoken by the vast majority of the population. In addition, there are more than 50 indigenous languages \u200b\u200bcurrently spoken in Mexico.<\/p>

The descendants of the Aztecs speak a form of the Aztec language called Nahuatl. Many of his words, particularly for types of food, passed into Spanish such as tomatoes (tomatl), chocolate (chocolatl), and avocados (ahuacatl).<\/p>

With almost 70% of the world\u2019s variety of plants and animals, Mexico is amazing not only for that, but for much more. <\/span>It is the fifth among the 12 megadiverse countries in the world, and along with two nations positioned in that select group, it shares the privilege of having coastlines on two oceans, the Pacific and the Atlantic.<\/p>

In the Mayan language<\/a> , Chich\u00e9n Itz\u00e1 means \u201cmouth of the well of the Itzaes\u201d, referring to the Sacred Cenote<\/a> , the great natural well that the inhabitants of the region considered one of the main entrances to the underworld<\/a> (seat of important gods, such as those of rain ).<\/p>

Furthermore, the name of the site alludes to the Itzaes<\/a> , powerful mythical-historical lords of the city during the time of its growth and heyday.<\/p>

Cocoa was a highly valued product in pre-Hispanic Mexico.<\/p>

Chocolate is a preparation based on roasted and ground cocoa beans.<\/span><\/p>

The earliest evidence for the use of chocolate dates back to the Olmecs (modern-day Mexico), with evidence of chocolate drinks dating to 1900 BC. c.<\/span><\/p>
