We never will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why Korespa is open to contributions from people who can help us better understand and represent the world around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may be a writer, photographer, traveller, local resident, historian, researcher, artist, student, professional, enthusiast, or simply someone with a story or piece of knowledge worth sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What matters to us is not your title. It is what you can contribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Help us build something worth reading<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Korespa is not only about publishing articles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want to gradually create a collection of knowledge, experiences, images, and perspectives that helps people discover places, cultures, ideas, and stories in a more meaningful way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People who contribute can help us improve the depth, accuracy, and cultural identity of Korespa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You might contribute:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An article or personal insight, or a small piece of knowledge can considerably improve an existing story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Local knowledge matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the most interesting information about a place never appears in a travel guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It comes from the people who live there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A street with an unusual history.<br>A building everyone passes but few people know anything about.<br>A traditional recipe passed down through generations.<br>A celebration that means something very different to local people than it does to visitors.<br>A landscape that deserves greater protection.<br>An artist whose work should be better known.<br>A story that is slowly disappearing from collective memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are exactly the kinds of things we would like Korespa to help preserve and share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Different perspectives are welcome<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Culture does not have a single voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two people can experience the same city, event, tradition, or subject in very different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe those differences have value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Korespa welcomes thoughtful perspectives and constructive disagreement, provided contributions are respectful, factual where facts are presented, and are not intended to deliberately mislead or harm others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are interested in understanding subjects, not manufacturing controversy around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You do not need to be a professional writer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Good knowledge does not always arrive in perfectly written paragraphs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Spanish or English is not your first language, that is not a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have something worthwhile to contribute, our editorial process can help organise, edit, or translate the material where appropriate, while trying to preserve your original meaning and voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would rather receive an interesting contribution written imperfectly than lose valuable knowledge because someone felt they were not a good enough writer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Photography and visual contributions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photography is an important part of Korespa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We welcome original photographs that help document places, people, architecture, landscapes, traditions, food, art, and everyday culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must own the photographs you submit or have the necessary permission to allow us to use them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where appropriate, photographers and original sources are credited alongside their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We take intellectual property seriously and do not believe that publishing something online removes the rights of the person who created it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accuracy matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nobody gets everything right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Korespa included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have specialist or local knowledge and find something on Korespa that you believe is incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or missing important context, we want to hear from you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A correction can be just as valuable as a new article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where reliable evidence supports a correction, we will review the material and update it when appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our objective is not to defend something simply because we published it before. Our objective is to make Korespa better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Independent contributions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contributing to Korespa does not mean you have to agree with every opinion that may appear on the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each contributor remains responsible for their own views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where an article represents a personal opinion rather than Korespa&#8217;s editorial position, we may identify it accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also expect contributors to disclose relevant commercial interests, sponsorships, affiliations, or other relationships that could reasonably influence the subject they are discussing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transparency is important to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we are not promising<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We prefer to be clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submitting something to Korespa does not guarantee that it will be published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We may edit submissions for clarity, language, accuracy, length, formatting, or consistency. Significant changes should always preserve the contributor&#8217;s original meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some contributions may require additional verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Others may simply not fit Korespa at that particular moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also cannot guarantee payment for unsolicited contributions unless compensation has been agreed in advance before the work is commissioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would rather explain that clearly than create unrealistic expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a contribution is published, we want to recognise the person behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the type of contribution, this may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A short contributor profile<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photography credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Links to a professional website or relevant profile<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attribution within the article<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A contributor page containing your published work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anonymous contributions may also be considered where there is a legitimate reason to protect someone&#8217;s identity, although we may still need to verify the contributor privately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organisations, experts, and cultural institutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also welcome contributions and information from organisations whose knowledge can help improve Korespa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This may include museums, universities, archives, cultural associations, tourism organisations, conservation groups, researchers, historians, photographers, artists, local authorities, and other relevant institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Providing information does not automatically give an organisation editorial control over an article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Korespa should remain useful to its readers first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is something missing from Korespa?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p
